Crumbly Desire 
Ingredients :
1/2kg(2 1/2 cups)full cream milk,3 tbsp vanilla custard powder,1/2 cup sugar,250g(1 1/4 cups)cream chilled,75g(7-8)Good Day biscuits or any crunchy biscuits-crushed to a rough powder,1/2 tsp vanilla essence,1 tbsp strawberry jam for decoration.

Preparation :
Dissolve custard powder in 1/2 cup milk.Put rest of the milk in a heavy bottomed pan with sugar on fire.Boil.Add custard powder,stirring continously.Cook for about 5 min,till a thin custard of coating consistency is ready.Remove from fire.Cool. Chill for 10-15 min.Whip the chilled cream,very carefully to form soft peaks.Fold 200g of cream,keeping aside 2-3 tbsp for decoration,into the chilled custard.Keep the leftover cream in the freezer for decoration.Mix 7-8 biscuit crumbs with the custard and cream mixture gently.Divide the custard into 6 individual glass bowls.Sprinkle some biscuit crumbs.Put a blob of cream,dotted with jam.

Crunchy Apple Pie 
Ingredients :
Short Crust Pastry:225g(2 1/4pressed cups)flour(maida),115g butter(cold),1tbsp powdered sugar, 2-3 tbsp ice cold water to bind .Apple filling:2 tbsp walnuts,4 apples peeled and thinly sliced, 1 tsp lemon juice,1/3 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp powdered cinnamon sticks. Crunchy Topping: 4 tbsp cornflakes,2 tbsp unsalted butter softened,2 tbsp powdered sugar.

Preparation :
Cut cold butter into tiny cubes.Add powdered sugar and flour in a mixer.Blend at low speed,intermittently( not continuous) till the mixture turns crumbly.Remove from mixer and knead lightly with ice cold water to form a dough.Wrap in a damp cloth and keep in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.Mix apple,lemon juice,sugar and cinnamon.Heat on slow fire till pulpy and dry.Keeping aside a small lemon sized ball of the dough for the topping,roll out the rest of the dough 1/4 inch thick and 4 inch bigger in diameter than the pie dish such that it covers the base and the sides of the pie dish.Grease a loose bottomed tin.Spread pastry in it.Pinch sides.Prick lightly with a fork.Bake at 200 Degree C in a pre-heated oven for 20 min.Mix nuts with the prepared apple filling and arrange the filling over the pastry.Mix all the ingredients of the topping gently and sprinkle over the filling.Roll out the leftover dough and cut into thin strips.Arrange the strips in a criss-cross fashion on the pie.Bake for 10 mins. in a preheated oven at 200 Degree C till the strips trun light brown and lightly crisp.Serve warm with ice-cream or by itself.
